Here at Berwick Juniors, we try and do as much as possible not only for the kids in our club, but for the wider community as a whole, anything that can benefit the local community, as well as benefit the club, we are interested in getting involved in, this is not just limited to football activities either.
Recently we were asked to attend a church service for Remembrance Day, the club were only too happy to go along, and afterwards we received the following e-mail from Berwick Rangers secretary Dennis McCleary :
“Thank you for joining with us last night at the vigil. The service although short was moving and the youngsters should be proud of the way they conducted themselves and of the fact they were able to be part of the vigil to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War 1. It was so good to be involved and please thank everyone including parents. Several Berwick players lost their lives in that War and we remembered them at our last home game. And their names would be included during all of last evening.
